This time of year we’re bombarded from every angle with the biggest and best Black Friday deals. It can get really overwhelming!
For me, I have a strategy going into the Black Friday season (because let’s face it, it’s not just a day anymore) to keep myself calm, cool, collected, and keep my wallet in check.
Here’s my Black Friday strategy:
I keep an ongoing note in my phone called “Black Friday Wishlist” and whenever I think of new things to add to it throughout the year I jot them down to keep the note handy.
For me, I like to use the Black Friday deals not to go looking for stuff to buy, but to stock up on the things I already use at a steep discount.
Then, when the timeframe/day comes, I simply log in to my accounts, purchase enough of what I already use for the year ahead, and rack in the savings!
It feels a lot more like taking control of the opportunity for savings rather than being pulled by all the possible deals out there!
My list includes things like:
Wellness: protein powders, supplements, and health and wellness items
Beauty: makeup, skincare, haircare, and personal care products
Tech: electronics that need upgrading or new items for creative projects
Fashion: clothing, shoes, outerwear, jewelry
Home: decorating, cleaning, etc.
Pet: gotta keep them spoiled, right?!

Also, sometime ago, you reviewed Paula’s Choice products in one of your farm notes. I had been using Zenmed products for years for rosacea. Paula’s Choice is SO much better on my skin! Who knew? 😊 I do use different products in the line than you do but have been very happy with my choices so far!
I have participated for 11 years now in Flood The Streets With Art. It is a worldwide event every Black Friday where you leave a piece of art for someone to find.
