Reading your letter each week, is like a fresh breath of air for me. There always seems to be a message I need to hear but too afraid to make a change. I’m happy to hear you won’t be taking on more at the farm. This year is for you to feel better, physically, mentally & emotionally. Thank you for allowing us to share the life of you & Chris. 🫶🏼

I can see myself sitting on the patio with tea and a notebook and being at peace, breathing, and soaking it all in. That feels so good already. Glad the note resonated with you this week - thank you for your comment!

Way to go, Sarah, on starting therapy. It can be a scary step to take, but you will find it so helpful. A good therapist will walk along beside you on your journey and help you reset/reach/discover/heed your own inner guidance and strength that you’ve had all along.

I guess that's part of why I resisted it for so long - I believe, and say to others, that our inner wisdom is not something we find outside ourselves, it's something we learn to tune into. I could stand to get better at taking my own advice. I'm really looking forward to this journey. Thank you!!

Great way to start the new year! so appreciate your transparency so I will respond in kind. I started therapy for the second time at the end of 2017 - preparing for the next year and beyond. The first time was in 2006 after the death of a beloved family member and 2017 was initiated by another more massive loss. A wise therapist who is a friend said to me "We think of therapy not as something to fix a problem, but as a well being tool." So along with the fitness, nutrition and lifestyle choices you have made (very holistic) your mental/emotional wellness routine has rounded the others out. What a great gift to yourself. Cheers to you!
