There are reasons things change. We may not like it or understand it. Sit back, rewind a bit & keep the door open. I have learned so much from you, Sarah. I would not handle this cow decision very well. I would cry & probably act like a child for a while. β€œIt’s not fair,” & stomp my feet. But not you or Chris. Nope, you two look at the bright side. The possibilities. We will all miss the cows, especially the newborn calves. I hope another option comes through. Keep the faith! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ«ΆπŸΌ

Haha thanks for talking us up! I did my crying, stomping, and it's not fair-ing many weeks before I sat to write this much more cool-headed farm note! Here's to something better!

Awwww I too am going to miss seeing them. We have some here near me and I always look for them when I ride by. They all have bells on. So cute. Thanks for the info for the spraying. My son has one cat that sprays, so I forwarded it to him. ❀️

You bet Blanche - I hope it helps! Tell him that we always fully clean the area first with hot water and paper towels and let that fully dry. Then I spray the cleaner on...I actually like to let it sit until it fully dries on the spot, and then I go back over it with a hot towel to finish cleaning it. It keeps them from continuing to spray in the same spots, and at least gets the smell out of the spots they do. The longer you let it soak the spot, the better it gets out the smell!

Why are the cows not coming back? They are going somewhere else to graze?

Thanks for asking! As I mentioned in the note, I won't be sharing that part of the story--just the stuff that's relevant to us here on our farm!

I'll miss those boopable noses! The answer is goats. They graze and poop and jump and bring joy to all. Floofy 🐐
