Hey Sarah! I would love to hear more about your nourishment information! I love the fresh veggies and fruits that I’m able to buy from the farm close to me, so anything you can share about your journey would be invaluable! Your garden looks amazing! I’m trying to grow some Swiss chard in my raised garden in my backyard but I’m not sure how successful I’ll be! I hope it grows so I can harvest it and eat it. I love chard so much!
I'm so glad you have access to this wonderful farm! And thanks for the note, I'm working on a few ways to package it all up for those who want lots more, and some ways to share here and on social too.
We’ve had a similar problem with a groundhog coming under our fence and decimating my peas, lettuce, spinach, one of our cucumber plants and some of my green beans.
Sorry to hear this!! This year we used Liquid Fence around all our new hydrangeas and around the perimeter of the garden - it has worked really well for keeping things outside the garden from getting in. Unfortunately in our case the woodchucks built a den right at the backside of our Big Garden, and I just don't have the heart to pour poison down into their home. Totally recommend using the Liquid Fence outside your garden, though. It's the stinkiest stuff ever (made from rotten eggs) but it works!
I feel your pain with the Groundhogs ( Did you know they are also called Whistle Pigs? ). I had a Hibiscus out front and one came, stood on his hind legs and started eating the blooms. Needless to say, I chased him away.
I have heard that Groundhogs hate the smell of Castor Oil. I have not tried it. One part Castor Oil to three parts water in a spray bottle. Spray wherever you would prefer to ban them.
Would love to learn more about nourishment. I know my diet is a dumpster fire but I would welcome direction in how to improve.

Enjoy reading every week...all the fruits and veggies look very yummy especially the watermelon 😊😊
In just a few weeks we'll have gobs of them and then we'll be eating watermelon at every meal of the day, haha!! Thanks for hanging with us here!
