Our neighborhood is having a block party today and the weather is perfect for it!
Glad you are home safe and sound from DC but so sorry to hear about Maxo! Sometimes the hardest thing we can do to show love is to let them go. Love to you and Chris.
That sounds like so much fun I hope you guys enjoyed it!! Hopefully it doesn't come to that anytime soon for Maxo but we're always prepared to do what's best.
Hi! Welcome home! I’m not quite ready for the fall colors yet but they are beautiful at the farm. Gerry & I along with my sister & her hubby are on vaca down south on the beach! Time spent with our sisters are the best!
I’m very sad about Molly-Max. He’s been thru so much. The strength & determination he has is amazing. I love that boy. Give him a kiss on his soft nose from me. Dom too. 🥹🥹😘😘
Enjoy your drives, taking in all the beautiful colors. Sending love & hugs! 🥰🤗
Well, we finally did it! We sold our house in Orlando earlier this month and bought one in a little town in Georgia called Fairmount. We're actually up a small mountain! Our youngest son and his family are only 40 minutes away and our oldest son is in south Tennessee about an hour 15 minutes away with his family. We've already seen the grandkids with more adventures planned! They are the reason we moved!
You would love the view we have from our backyard! it may be small, but the view takes my breath away and I can't wait for the fall colors to start here! It is already so much cooler than Florida and I do not miss that humidity one bit, lol!
This has been a long journey to get here. Over a year of planning and trying, arguing and crying. Almost got to the point of thinking it would never happen, but in July, things started to click with a buyer and then we were boots on the ground looking for our house. Luckily, we had a wonderful agent in Georgia, who was our rock, and fought like crazy for us!
I just thought you'd like to know that my life is finally heading towards a place of peacefulness. My husband and I still have the same issues we had in Orlando but at least for now we are focused on the house and the family, so we are getting along. Of course, I always have my 3 cats, my babies by my side!
I am happy you are home safe and sound! I am anxiously awaiting news on Molly Max but know whatever the it is, you and Chris will always put his comfort & quality of life first and do whatever is right for him! We all love him and want what is best!
Wow this is such wonderful news - congratulations to you!!!! My aunt and uncle a few years back bought a place up in Georgia in the mountains that they could escape the Florida heat and it just sounds like heaven! It sounds like things happened exactly as they were meant to for you guys to find just the right slice of heaven!
Hi Sarah, After the summer heat, drought and critter munching, I finally had a dahlia bloom this past week!!! Better late than never I guess. I am feeling better after my overnight hospital stay for electrolyte imbalances early this summer. Sorry to hear about Molly-Max’s continuing problems. I thought he was a real sweety when I met him last year. I still haven't gotten to Clutch market- soon.-
Oh wow I have a friend who just got her first bloom last week too--how strange! I think in her case the spot she planted them just doesn't get quite enough light. Glad to hear your stay wasn't something more concerning but yes you've got to keep on top of those minerals!! Did the docs recommend electrolyte powders to you at all? Instant Hydration makes some you may like to try!!
Poor Molly Max! You’re both doing the best you can, and it really shows. It sounds like you have some tough conversations ahead of you. I hope things turn around for him.
I’m sure your kitties are excited to have you home! Im also glad you felt like you contributed while on orders, that can sometimes be tricky.
Thank you Jess - yes I know what you mean about it being tricky to feel like you're doing your part. There was certainly some of that but I think that's been the case on every set of orders the last few years. Always making the most of it!

Thank you so much - looking forward to seeing the vet and getting her readout of how he's doing!
