Hi, Sarah! It’s something to think about as far the hawk goes. All in good time. I love quirky happenings like that.
I actually caught the video with the sweet lady! She’s so real. I would love to hang out with her for a while. 😊
When you were talking about seeing people on your hillside, it sounded like a book I’ve read. Don’t ask me the title! I’ve slept since then. You could write a book about the adventures on your farm. Maybe a children’s book with all the “kids” in it, illustrated to appeal to children.
I believe Spring is right around the corner. I’m sitting at my bonus daughter’s home in Franklin, TN. She has 4 floor to ceiling windows in her kitchen, looking out to the back yard. I just witnessed the mating dance of two robins. 😉 I’m ready for warmer weather at least.
Have an amazing Sunday & last week of January. I will stay tuned for the wonder world of the Little Dream Farm! 🫶🏼😊
I have lots of the makings for a book about life here on the LDF...maybe in time when some other projects that are taking up all my spare time are all off and running in the real world. So many things to create, and yet somehow we still need good sleep!! All in good time, as you said. Your descriptions are wonderful and sounds like you're having a lovely time--enjoy enjoy enjoy! Spring will be here soon enough. XO!
I hope we have another cold/snowy snap here this winter so I can sit around and get fat(ter) and sassy! That made me laugh so much 😂.
I don't know what the symbolism of a hawk is but the first thing that popped in my mind when I read about your 'encounters' was the book 'H is for Hawk' by Helen Macdonald. I feel like it might speak to you in some way but even if it doesn't, it's a great read.
I'm so glad that video made you laugh--that lady is just the best!! She makes me want to do nothing more than cook soup, eat bread and dessert, and get all fat and sassy...every time the weather is poor!! Haha bless her for bringing such a big smile to so many people's faces completely unintentionally. And thank you - I'll check the book out!

That sounds like a beautiful and relaxing view xxx
Strange coincidence, I just read the first page of H is for Hawk and it mentions the US Air Force twice!
I'm a major fan of "coincidence..." which of corse is never just coincidence!

Thank you for posting that video! 😂 I’ll never see another snow day the same way, hahaha!
