Next on my list, weather permitting, let’s take a walk around your property, with a nice, hot cup,of tea or coffee.
I’ve always wanted to visit a small eastern town where we could park & walk everywhere. Show me your favorite spots to shop, browse & enjoy a meal.
I would love to help you prepare a wonderful meal so I could learn a bit of your expertise. I’m a pretty picky eater, but I’d do my best to try something new.
Tucking the Molly-Max & Dominic in for the night, then the sweet chickies, would be the end of our day.
I’d return in the morning, bright & early to help with any chores. Feeding, mucking the stalls, scooping poop, feeding, pulling weeds, trimming bushes, cutting grass, etc. I’m not afraid to work & get my hands dirty.
Depending on how long you could put up with me (& my hubby ☺️), we’d enjoy a cup of coffee/tea on your porch, enjoying the view. Talking about our lives, discussing the future of LDF, whatever came up.
As our visit ended, I’d invite you & Chris for a visit to southern Indiana. We’d leave LDF full of love & admiration for you, Chris & all the “kids”! ❤️

I'm currently daydreaming that a neighbor of ours might allow us to use their house for some of y'all to come and stay so that you'd be super close by. Their house is big enough for even a group of ladies or a few couples to come stay and we could make SUCH a fun time out of that! So I'll let you know how that shakes out. You have so clearly visioned this and I love love love how much you've taken in from what we've shared and how it matches exactly the things we'd enjoy showing you. I would definitely want to meet all the furmers first as I love my kitties, then on to MM and Dominic and of course the girlies. Would love to sit out on your porch early morning with a cup of coffee and greet the day with those beautiful sunrises, seeing the fog across the fields, and listening to the stillness before the awakening of the farm. During the day I would love to take a walk around your property or even down the road where you walk, go see the pond and the cows if it was in the spring or summer. Cows have the cutest faces. Again if it was spring or summer, I would love to walk through your fields of wild flowers 💐, they are so beautiful. I would love to go to the farmer’s markets or any little quaint stores to shop. It would be wonderful to feast on some of your wonderful breakfasts or dinners, everything grown from your land or a neighbor’s farm. Then at the end of the day, to tuck all the girlies, Dominic and Molly Max in for the night and say good night to the furmers before enjoying a beautiful sunset with you and Chris ✨❤️

I lived in Clifton Park for over ten years. When we moved there it was nothing but farmland and a McDonalds. Now it is unrecognizable. And I remember when I drove around as a kid, how beautiful the land was and all the farms and I always tried to imagine what it was like to live on one of them. I always worried that they would all be sold and developed. If I were to ever visit I would have course love to spend time with all the kitties. But I would also like to just walk the land and listen to the quiet and experience what I had imagined all those years ago…and then say a prayer for you that it never changes.
Our farmer lives in Valley Falls and they've told me stories about how much Clifton Park has grown over the years. I do hope that our area sees an influx of young families and people who see value in wanting to live in such a wonderful place, but you're right, it'd be heartbreaking for it to grow like that! We'd have such a good time walking around together. Let me know if you're ever back in the area!
